New Yearly PSL Option Now Available Sports fans now have the option of purchasing a one-year Personalized Seat License (PSL) for premium chairback seats in Throneberry Stadium. Whether it's Football or Soccer, High School, Junior High, or Elementary, PSL holders will enjoy the "best seat in the house." The cost for a one-year PSL is $125 and includes admision to all regular season athletic events held in Throneberry Stadium. There are approximately 50 seats left, and they will go fast, so place your order today. PSL holders will have priority when renewing the following year. Fans can also purchase yearly PSL's at the gate provided seats are still available. Cal Todd Miller at 893-0602 for more information. Scholastic Book Fair The Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the library from August 27th through September 2nd from 7:40 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and will close at noon on the last day. Family Night will be held on August 30th, and parents and students can shop the book fair from 4:00 p.m. until the Patron's Meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Parent volunteers interested in helping during the school day can email Alissa Cary (alissacary@mtcscougars.org) or call the library. Football Games to be Broadcast Grandma and Grandpa, Mom and Dad, Alumni and Fans, Recruiters.....Relax! You don’t have to worry about missing the game. You can now watch the game from practically anywhere in the world, on the Around-The-World Sports Broadcasting Network. Middle Tennessee Christian School is now using ATWSportscast to stream live video and audio from sporting events and important school functions. Beginning this season with football, Jason Brunner and Jeremy Smith will be broadcasting live from home and away games so you never have to miss the action. Just follow the link http://atwsportscast.com/HighSchoolPages/PlayerPages/MTCS.htm and make sure that you allow the Microsoft Media Player Add-on to run if you are prompted. Also be sure to check out the archived shows on the website after each game. The MTCS Varsity Cheerleaders attended the NCA Cheerleading Camp this summer at Vanderbilt University. The squad received Superior ribbons on their performances and brought home a spirit stick. Sarah Margaret Hardison was nominated and selected to the NCA All-Star Squad which qualifies her to travel to London, England to participate in exclusive NCA events. She also received a leadership award chosen by the NCA staff. Congratulations to all of our Varsity cheerleaders!!! Trap Competition Congratulations to Coach Rob Mathis and our middle school trap team who took third place in the Intermediate Advanced Division Trap competition at the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation's 2010 Scholastic Clay Target Program Championships, competing against teams from 26 other states. The team shot a 927 out of a possible 1,000. Team members include Taylor Bolin (192), Sam Mathis (189), Buford Throneberry (177), Brad Black (185), and Hunter Vaughn (184). We are proud of you.
