Elementary Service Day a huge success

Our elementary students spent Friday, September 9, 2011 preparing Magi boxes to ship to Honduras.  They collected over $5,000 and used that money to purchase and ship over 200 boxes full of toothpaste, washcloths, and marker sets to the children in Honduras.  Thanks to Mrs. Kelley Mullins for her leadership of this event

Fall Break/Fall Festival Dates

Be sure to note that the dates for our fall break (October 3-7) and fall festival (October 15) are different than in years past.  In order to accommodate our parents who may have children in the Rutherford County school system as well as MTCS, our fall break this year is set to coincide with their calendar.   This caused our fall festival to be pushed to October 15th instead of its usual first Saturday in October date.

Read to Succeed needs volunteers

Our annual Read to Succeed for our elementary students is scheduled for September 23, 2011.  We need volunteers to read books to our classes and/or work the enrollment table throughout the day from 8:15 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  Interested parents, friends, or family members should contact the child’s teacher.
