Four MTCS students participated in MTSU's Wind Band Conference February 2-4, 2012: Steven Barker, Andrew McMahan, Mason Sowder, and Heather West.  As part of the conference, students attended the Tennessee Valley Winds concert Thursday night, rehearsed with renowned conductors for ten hours over the course of two days, attended the MTSU Wind Ensemble concert Friday night, and performed in a final concert on Saturday afternoon.  Participants in the conference were nominated by their band director(s) and then selected by MTSU music faculty.  What an honor!
