Admissions Process for Pre K 3 and 4 Students
The following information provides a list of all segments of the Admissions Process for children entering MTCS Preschool.
- Completed application and Health History Form
- Include a copy of child’s birth certificate
- Include an original immunization record (from doctor)
- Submit application fee and registration fee
- Participate in “Here’s Look’n at You, Kid!” Day scheduled for May or July. You will be notified of your scheduled day.
Our “Here’s Look’n at You, Kid!” visit is a period of approximately 1-1/2 hours for our preschool staff to observe your child in our preschool setting. While your child is visiting with the teachers, the parents/guardians will meet with the Preschool Director for a brief information session. “Here’s Look’n at You Kid!” visits will be highly beneficial in preparing for the upcoming school year, especially in regard to class placement. All families must participate in the observational visit before acceptance will be finalized and the child admitted to our program. Families who plan on their child attending Summer Day Camp must participate in the May observation date. Being able to start your child either in Summer Day Camp or the regular school year is contingent upon having all paperwork and monies turned in as well as full participation in “Here’s Look’n at You, Kid!” and a positive score.
