Parthenon
Field Trip (6th Grade)

On Friday, February 3rd,
the sixth grade classes went on a field trip to the Parthenon in
Nashville
. This was part of our unit study on
Ancient Greece. The students enjoyed
seeing and hearing about the amazing 41 foot statue of Athena.
The history and architecture of the original Parthenon in
Athens
,
Greece
and its replica in
Nashville
came alive as we were lead on a fascinating tour.
This was a great field trip!
