Our PK-4 classes at the Li’l
Cougar Den have recently been learning about other countries.
They tasted foods and made crafts associated with these various
places. Many guest speakers
were welcomed at the Den as they shared their experiences from these other
lands with the children! They
have certainly been “around the world!”
The
Kindergarten classes recently took a trip to an apple
orchard and now know more about apples than most adults!
They played games with apples, tasted apple goodies, and made apple
butter and applesauce. Just
ask them about Johnny Appleseed!
Green eggs and ham were on the
menu at the PK-3 this past week since they had “green day” on
Wednesday! They also played
with their paints to find that yellow and blue make green!
