ELEMENTARY HAPPENINGS
March 14, 2008
Lori Gonzales, Mary Lou West, and all the Pre-K teachers
worked hard to prepare for last night’s spring program with our
youngest cougars. It was
another success, as they sang about God’s love for all the children of
the world. Thanks to
Carol Lowe & Judy Holland for designing and making the set and to
Christi Welker and all the preschool teachers for their hard work
assisting in the work! It takes everyone working together to
make an event happen. I want to thank Mr. Wade, Lynne Underwood, and
Debbie Hofbauer for making sure the gym was set-up and ready for the
Preschool Program Thursday night. I also want to thank Cindy Siler
for putting the Pre-K slide show together and Lori Gonzales for taking the
pictures for it. Kelley Vick stayed that evening to run the slide
show for the Pre-K Program. I greatly appreciate everyone’s
efforts in working together. That’s one thing that makes this
place so special!
Mary Jernigan had her first graders counting money for
their “piggy banks” recently.
They came up with all kinds of ways to make certain amounts of
money with their coins. As
they counted it, they placed it onto their paper “piggy banks” to show
the amount. They did quite
well!
