Valentine’s
Day
Festivities
Last Friday was just another example of what great parents we have
here!! We are so thankful to
all the parents who plan the parties and arrive faithfully to make them
happen! It is always fun for
me to walk around and see the creative games and activities in action.
The children enjoyed a variety of adorable homemade goodies from
the moms and grandmas as well. Children
swapped valentines and treats and lots of “love” was evident!
Whether it is planning a party, helping with math facts, taking
down a bulletin board, or chaperoning a trip, we need our volunteers and
want to encourage our parents’ involvement in our school!!
2nd
Grade Enjoys Slim Goodbody
The
entire MTCS 2nd grade enjoyed a great trip to TPAC to see Slim Goodbody in
person! They learned about
making healthy decisions and how our bodies work.
Two of our second graders were invited to the stage to help.
Kayla Winn did flips on stage, showing something neat she can do
with her body. Amos Howard was
a volunteer that helped teach one of the healthy lessons.
The program was fun and interactive for all!!!
