The junior high school
curriculum is designed to provide a transition from elementary school to
high school. Through challenging studies, students are encouraged to
develop their skills in research, communications, critical thinking and
analysis, time management, and self-discipline. The junior high students consistently score in the top
25% nationwide on the Stanford
Achievement Test. Many seventh graders actively participate in
Duke University's Talent In Progress Program every year, with
several receiving state recognition.
