The high school curriculum prepares students for college with an emphasis on oral and written communication skills.  Our guidance department focuses on college admission requirements, assisting each student in the application and enrollment process at the university of their choice.  The last three graduating classes share an average class size of 37, an average ACT score of 23 (three points higher than the state average), and were awarded an average of $1,115,333 in academic and athletic scholarships.  MTCS graduates have studied at Middle Tennnessee State, Lipscomb, Harding, Belmont, Vanderbilt, Freed-Hardeman, Trevecca, University of Tennessee, Emory, Queens, Pepperdine Law School, Tennessee Tech, the United States Naval Academy, and many other colleges and universities.
