The high school curriculum
prepares students for college with an emphasis on oral and written
communication skills. Our guidance department focuses on college
admission requirements, assisting each student in the application and
enrollment process at the university of their choice. The last five graduating classes share an average class size of
49, an average ACT
score of 23.8 (four points higher than the state average), and were awarded
an average of $2.5 million in academic and athletic scholarships. MTCS
graduates have studied at Middle Tennessee State, Lipscomb, Harding,
Belmont, Vanderbilt, Freed-Hardeman, Trevecca, University of Tennessee,
Emory, Queens, Pepperdine Law School, Tennessee Tech, the United States
Naval Academy, University of Memphis, University of Louisville, Purdue
University, University of Notre Dame, and many other colleges and universities.
