Kim
Bogus e-mail
Mrs.
Kim started out at MTCS as a substitute teacher for preschool through
sixth grade, and has been a full-time teacher since 2007. She
has worked with children for 20+ years. She is married to Eric Bogus
and has one son at MTCS. She attends Kingwood Heights Church of
Christ where her husband is the youth minister. "When we moved to
Murfreesboro, Middle Tennessee
Christian
School
immediately made us feel like family. It has been a great experience, and
I always look forward to working with the four- year-olds."

Chris
Chichuk e-mail
Mrs.
Chris began her career with MTCS in 2003 working with our Extended Care
Program, and now teaches our 4-year-olds. She is currently working
on her CDA and degree in Early Childhood Education through TECTA at MTSU.
Before joining our staff,
she was a stay-at-home mom to her son and daughter. She and her
family attend Highland Heights Church of Christ in Smyrna. She says
she loves MTCS for the spiritual growth it provides, not only for
students but for teachers and parents, too, as well as the Christian
fellowship and support of all the families at MTCS.

Jenny Fraser e-mail
Mrs.
Fraser is a member of our PK-3 staff. She previously worked 7
years with the Murfreesboro City Schools Pre-School program. She and her
husband, Roy, have 2 sons who attend MTCS. They are all members at
Bethlehem Church of Christ, where Roy is a deacon. Mrs. Fraser says
she feels
very blessed to be a part of MTCS and to have the opportunity to teach
God’s word to our youngest students.

Lori
Gonzales e-mail
Mrs. Lori holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Development from the
University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She spent 5 years teaching at
Smyrna Christian School and has been at MTCS since 1996, where she has
served as Preschool and Extended Care Programs Director since 2002.
She is a member of the National Association for the Education of
Young Children, Southern Early Childhood Association, Tennessee
Association for the Education of Young Children, Rutherford County
Association for the Education of Young Children, and National Association of
Child Care Professionals. She and her husband, Greg, are the proud parents of a beautiful teenage
girl. They worship with the North Boulevard Church of Christ.
When asked about MTCS, Mrs. Lori stated, "It is a very exciting
time to be a part of the ministry and work here at MTCS. I love the family
atmosphere that Greg, Annie, and I are surrounded by at MTCS!"

Jane Herring e-mail
Mrs.
Jane was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. She has been with
our PK-4 program at MTCS since 2007. Prior to joining MTCS staff, she
was employed by Rutherford County schools as an Educational
Assistant at Lascassas Elementary for 7 years. Her husband, James,
is also from
Rutherford
County, and they have a son at MTCS.

Donna
Massa e-mail
Mrs.
Donna worked as an assistant with our 3-year-olds in 2006 and began
serving
as a lead teacher with those students in 2007. Before joining
the MTCS faculty, she worked with the 4-year-olds at Smyrna Christian
School. She and her husband, Randy, have 3 children who have all
attended MTCS. They attend the Smyrna Church of Christ where they are
active with the youth group and children's ministry. Mrs. Donna says her
favorite thing about MTCS is the Christian family environment, not only
in the preschool but on the main campus as well.

Tracey

Mrs.
Tracey has enjoying working with our 3-year-old students at MTCS since
2005. She and her husband, Byron, have 4 children and attend
Minerva Drive Church of Christ. She says her favorite thing about
MTCS is that she loves the environment, being here with her
children, and working with friends. We feel very fortunate to have
her as part of our school family.

Mrs.
Kelly has taught in our preschool program since 1997 and currently
works with our 4-year-olds. She and her husband, Chuck, have 2
sons and attend Minerva Drive Church of Christ. "I like the
Christian environment for me and my children."

Mrs.
Renee came to MTCS in 2006 and is working with our
3-year-olds. Before joining our staff, she taught pre-school for 4
years at Smyrna Christian School. She and her husband, Ron, have two daughters and worship
with the Smyrna Church of Christ, where they enjoy teaching children's
Bible classes and working with the youth. "I am so excited
and thankful that God has blessed me with the opportunity of being a
part of the MTCS family."

Melissa

Mrs.
Melissa joined our staff in 2006 and works with our
4-year-olds. She and her husband, Jeff, attend Mars Hall Church of
Christ in Christiana. She really enjoys working with the children
and being in a Christian environment.

Mary
Lou West e-mail
Mrs.
Mary Lou received her Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Tech in
Cookeville, TN. She has taught preschool at MTCS since 1984 and is Curriculum Coordinator for the preschool. She is probably
best known to our students as the "Letter Lady."
Prior to joining the MTCS staff, she was a substitute teacher for 4
years at Boyd Christian School in McMinnville, TN, and also taught as a
substitute in the Robertson County school system. Mrs. West and
her husband, Marion, attend the Florence Church of Christ where Marion
is the minister. They have 2 children, both of whom are
graduates of MTCS. Her favorite thing about MTCS is the wonderful
people!

Gayle

Mrs.
Gayle has taught preschool at MTCS since 1998 and currently works with
our 4-year-olds. She is taking Early Education classes through the
TECTA program at
Middle Tennessee State University. She will earn her Child
Development Associate degree (CDA) in the Fall of 2010. Before coming to MTCS, she taught for 2 years at Kiddie Korner in
Murfreesboro and for 1-1/2 years at Smithville Day School. She and
her husband, Nathan, have 1 daughter who is a students at MTCS.
They attend Milton Church
of Christ where Nathan is the youth and family minister. She says her favorite thing about MTCS is being allowed
to put God first in EVERYTHING, and being allowed to pray at any time of
day.

Joyce
Wright e-mail
Mrs.
Joyce has taught at MTCS since 1994 and is currently working with our
4-year-olds. She has had plenty of experience working with
children as she has taught Bible classes and VBS since 1968. Mrs.
Joyce will earn her Child Development Associate degree (CDA) in the Fall
of 2010.
She is taking classes through the TECTA program at Middle Tennessee
State University. She will complete the program in the Spring of
2009. She
and her husband, Jimmy, have 3 grown children (2 of which are MTCS
graduates), 3 granddaughters (one of whom is an MTCS student) and 1
grandson. Mrs. Joyce attends the North
Boulevard Church of Christ where she teaches Sunday School. Mrs. Joyce says that her favorite
thing about MTCS is the Christian environment.
